.May 5th Release - Republic of Telly Showing on Monday May 9th - Dont forget the Tour De Cure has being featured on RTEs Award Winnning Program on the Monday after the event. It will involve comedy and has already being filmed with characters from the show. Should provide National Promotion for the event.
May 5th - Livestrong Foundation have provided the event with some cool raffle items for the Gala Dinner on Saturday Night at the Morans Silver Springs Hotel, Cork.
May 4th - Tour of Ireland ProTour Organisers have given the Tour De Cure Event a 2009 Yellow Jersey signed by Lance Armstrong of Astana when he rode the Tour of Ireland here in 2009. This is up for AUCTION. Signed at end of the race in Cork. Contact Us. See the image here
.May 4th - GIANT Bicycles Ireland have sponsored the Tour De Cure event a bike for our Raffle. See it on the day and buy a ticket. Raffle will take place at the Gala Dinner on Saturday Night at the Morans Silver Springs Hotel, Cork.

Eurosport Television 3pm Sunday April 18th , discuss and plug the Tour De Cure during the live transmission of the Amstel Gold Professional Bike Race. Great exposure. Sean Kelly was even talking about it.
2011 Launch, Stephen was in Cork over 2 days promoting the Tour De Cure. He visited Beaumont Boys National School, the John Birmingham Centre, Corks RED FM, the Mercy Hospital Cancer Foundation and filmed a slot for RTES Republic of Telly. (Check our Gallery Page.)
Republic Of Telly, RTE2's Monday Night No 1 Comedy Series, to produce an episode for May 2nd viewing on RTE about the Tour De Cure and Stephen Roche with their leading characters Handy Sandie and her mam. Filming in Cork on April 13th, cyclists are required for the shoot.

UNOVELO News. The Bike that Stephen rides, the 56cm Unovelo SLS1017 with FSA Wheels and SRAM Force GrpSet will be raffled off next week between those sportif riders who raise 150euro. Bike would retail at 3,000euro.
UNOVELO Launches in Ireland at the Tour De Cure weekend. Unovelo have provided us with a bike with their top of the range carbon frame for Stephen on the day to use and for others to view and take for a test ride afterwards. There are discussions ongoing that we may be able to auction this top of the range 56cm machine off during the evening at the Dinner Banquet. Stephen Roche (we all know who he is) along with Laurence Roche his brother (former Tour De France, Giro D'Italia and Vuelta D'Espana Professional Rider), Donal Og Cusack (GAA Legend at this stage and writer of the Best Selling Sports Book 2009), Lisa Cummins (only Irish Lady to swim the Channel and back in one swoop and one of a few in the world to have done so), John Kelly (Munster Legend 140 caps and former Irish International 40 caps and scorer of "that try" that wasnt given). An Auction will be held during the night. 7.30pm-11.30pm.
